LAKSA Betawi Adminduk Service Reaches People with Disabilities in Kalibata

Very effective

Three residents with disabilities in Kalibata Urban Village area, Pancoran Sub-district took advantage of the Layanan Dengan Kasih Sayang Betawi (LAKSA) service with door to door system launched by the South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency (Dukcapil).

Kalibata Urban Village Dukcapil Executing Unit Head, Yuyun Wahyuni said the LAKSA Betawi service is intended for people with disabilities who do not yet have an e-KTP.

"We provide this service for residents who can't come to the service counters. It can only be used by those who have registered via the link bit.ly/LaksaBetawiJaksel or scan the QR Code," she expressed, Monday (1/22).

She explained the socialization of the LAKSA Betawi program continues to be intensified to residents through RT/RW administrators, thus all residents without exception can have orderly population administration (adminduk).

"People with mental disorders can also be beneficiaries of this service. We present equality and justice for residents, as everyone has the right to receive population administration services," he explained.

Meanwhile, LAKSA Betawi Service Beneficiary Aawiyah (58), a resident of RT 11/08, Kalibata Urban Village, said she was very happy and appreciated the door-to-door services for people with disabilities.

"Very effective and helps residents who find it difficult to get to urban village or sub-district offices. I also thank the RT/RW for informing residents of this program," he stated.
